how we handle your information

When you place an order through the builder on this site, we collect the information you enter directly into the order form: your first name, last name, phone number, your salad selections, and any optional notes you add (such as a pickup time preference). This information is submitted through Netlify Forms, the form-handling service that powers this site's order form.
If you buy a gift card, we also collect your name and email, and the recipient's name and email, so we can send the gift card code to both of you and match it up with your Zelle payment. If you're a gift card recipient, we use your name and email only to deliver the gift card code and are not otherwise collecting information from you at that time.
We use the information you provide only to prepare and fulfill your order — that includes confirming the order, matching your Zelle payment to the correct order, and contacting you if we need to reach you about your pickup. We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for their own marketing purposes.
Saladfaction does not collect or process payment card or bank information through this website. Payment is made separately, by you, directly through Zelle in your own banking app. We never see or store your banking credentials.
This site is hosted on Netlify, and order and gift card submissions are processed using Netlify Forms. Order and gift card confirmation emails are sent using Brevo, an email delivery service, to the addresses you provide (you and, for gift cards, the recipient). Netlify and Brevo may log standard technical information (such as IP address) as part of operating their infrastructure; this is outside our direct control and governed by their own privacy practices. We do not add any advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or analytics cookies to this site ourselves.
We keep order information for as long as reasonably needed to fulfill your order and keep basic business records. If you'd like your information removed from our records, email us and we'll take care of it.
This site is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
